The Dog Who Learned By His Own Mistake
Selena, 10, Pennsylvania, U. S. A
The moral of my fable is:  Learn not to steal without stealing.
My fable is:

Once their was a dog who loved bones so much that the dog always took other dogs' bones.

One day all the dogs grew tired of the dog taking their bones so they had a plan to get back at him.

They waited till late midnight to make sure the dog was fast asleep. Then all the dogs snuck into the dog's hose and went searching for their lost bones.

One of the dogs found a basket full of their bones so all the dogs took the bones leaving no bones behind.

The dog woke up the next morning finding no bones anywhere in his home. The dog went outside finding every other dog with their bones.

The dog that took their bones said he was sorry and had learned his lesson.

The moral of my fable is:  If you can't fly, don't chase something your own size that can fly.
My fable is:

Once upon a time in a blazing desert a huge lion was trying to eat something.

The lion was as yellow as a beehive. He saw a bird flying around. The bird was red and sliver.

The lion chased the bird around the blazing dessert. The bird flew off a cliff and the lion jumped of the cliff after it.

The lion fell down a long way and landed in a long rushing river. He had to swim a long way to get back home.
