Cade, 8, New Mexico, USA
The moral of my fable isA failure can turn into a big success.
My fable is:

One day there was a cockroach that was a mad scientist. He was trying to make a flying car but whatever he did he got zapped or shot by oil.

After much work he gave up.

A couple of days later his friend Bob asked if they could go to the lab and he said, “OK.” Bob asked, “What’s that?”. Then something started to spark. “Lets go try it out”, said Bob.

“That’s not such a good idea”, said his scientist friend the Dr. Cockroach. Bob flew all around the lab. Dr. Cockroach took hold of the wheel and flew out of the garage and said, “I’m the first one to make a flying car”.

He learned that a failure could be turned into a big success.

Leah told her that wasn't such a good idea and said maybe you should tell her the truth about what you did. And that she did it on purpose.

Amber didn't listen. When Aburey came back she was sad and cried her eyes out.

Amber lied about what she did. But Leah told the truth to Aburey once Amber left.
