The bear bit the wolf's paw and he howled. The alpha-wolf and his pack jumped out from behind some bushes. The alpha wolf said, “You tried to eat our friend?” Then the bear replied, "um…yes".

So the wolves chased the bear until they couldn’t see him anymore.

The Negative Goat
Ai, Vicky, & Sarah, 9, Kentucky, USA
The moral of our fable isSaying negative things about yourself can be annoying.
My fable is:

Once there was a goat who said negative things about herself. The herd of sheep didn’t like it.

One day the sheep said to the goat, “Why do you say negative things about yourself when it’s not true? You are not ugly or stupid. You are pretty and smart.".

Then the goat said, “Sorry, but I think I am ugly and stupid". Then the goat went back to eating grass.

The next day the goat was saying, "I’m ugly, I’m stupid". The herd heard her and said, "We’re all annoyed".

The goat said, "Sorry, I will try not to say negative things about myself". From then on she didn’t say anything negative about herself.
