The Baby Panda And The Rich Fox Cub
Yali, 10, Israel
The moral of my fable isNo matter how rich you are, treat your friends the way they deserve to be treated.
My fable is:

Once upon a time there was an average baby panda and a rich fox cub. They were best friends, but the fox always took a step forward from the panda.

One day at the kindergarten the panda said to the fox, "That's enough! I can't take it any more!".

The fox didn't know what his friend was taking about. The panda said, "I mean the way you are always taking a step forward ahead of me".

The fox was in shock. No one ever spoke to him like that ever.

After a couple of days the fox came to the panda and said, "I am really sorry. I thought about it and I will never do that again".

Then the fox and the panda were best friends.

The Dog And Its Owner
Eddie, 10, Israel
The moral of my fable isMaybe you're the only owner but you can still share with nice people.
My fable is:

A dog and its owner went to the beach on a sunny day. When they got there they went into the water.

The dog met a dolphin that said to him, "Dog, you can't go in the water".

"Why?" asked the dog. "Because I can't walk on the ground, so you can't go in the water".

The owner of the dog said, "Why fight when you can share the water? There's lots of water! There is enough for everyone".

Two Friends
Lior, 10, Israel
The moral of my fable isThink before doing.
My fable is:

One hot afternoon, which makes people mad, two friends saw each other. They talked and talked and then got very angry at each other.

They got so angry that one took his gun and shot his friend and killed him. At that night he saw the ghost of his dead friend in his dream. The ghost asked him why he had killed his friend and said that if he does not change, it will come to him all nights forever. He promised that he would make all his dreams nightmares and during the days he will not be able to think about anything except his dead friend.

The living friend decided not to change. Because he was so sad, he decided to commit suicide. He jumped out of the window.

He was begging to go to heaven but God decided to send him to hell. There in hell he had horrible life (actually death), just because he did that horrible thing which is called killing somebody.

Once Upon A Time In A Jungle
Abigail, 10, Israel
The moral of my fable isIf you are a leader, be a good one and use your power in good ways.
My fable is:

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Sam. Sam had a grandfather. Every Saturday Sam would sleep at his grandfather's house.

One Saturday Sam wanted to hear a bed time story. But the only book Sam's grandfather had for children was an old fables book. Sam hated fables so he said, “No grandfather! I hate fables! They are boring!”.

"But if you want a bedtime story, I will have to read you a fable story”, said the grandfather. “Fine. Please read a fable story”, said Sam. “I will read you my favorite fable. It's about monkeys”, said the grandfather.

So the grandfather cleared his throat and started reading the fable: "Once upon a time in the jungle lived a little monkey named Keeco. His family was very poor. So Keeco needed to go to the king's palace to ask for a job. The king of monkeys was a very mean person, but luckily because Keeco was pleasant, the king hired him and Keeco became a servant to the king.

Two years later the king wanted Keeco to bring him tea in his precious tea cups. Poor little Keeco was very nervous and he accidentally dropped the tea cup. The king was very mad and he said, “Tomorrow, by the rise of the sun, your head will be ripped!.

When Keeco's mother, Ariana, heard the king speaking this way to her son she ran fast and told him that since he was chosen to be the king he was only lying to everybody. “If you are going to be a leader be a good one!”, she said.

From that day on the king of monkeys was a king that everybody loved and was proud of. The monkey kingdom was the happiest place in the jungle.

“Well, did you like the fable?”, grandfather asked Sam. "Well, I loved it! I should have listened to you”, said Sam. And from that day on Sam heard and enjoyed fables every Saturday.

The Cocky Cockerel And The Clever Duck
Robyn, 10, United Kingdom
The moral of my fable is:  Don't count your chickens before they hatch.
My fable is:

There once was cocky cockerel who lived in Browny farm. He loved entering the lottery on a Sunday like all the other animals on the farm. He didn't like the animals on the farm... especially the ducks.

The Sunday came and they all met up in the barn yard at night. The cockerel said, "There is no point for all you animals to enter because I will win". The numbers were drawn. He was quite embarrassed because he did not win.

When the next week came the duck wanted to pull a prank on the cockerel. And when the next week came the duck did what he said he was going to do. He went to the cockerel's home and told the cockerel he had won. Then the cocky cockerel wondered were his money was. It was Sunday and the duck said, "You've been pranked".

Everyone laughed at the cocky cockerel. He learned that he should never count his chickens before they have hatched.
