The Great Race

The moral of my fable isThink before you speak.
My fable is:

One sunny afternoon a cheetah was running in the plains to school. An antelope and a zebra laughed as they said that he was slow.

The cheetah said lets have a race. They agreed to race.

The next morning they raced. The race was 50 miles long. Ready, set, go said the antelope.

The zebra and the antelope were running as fast as they could. They passed the cheetah. They were almost to the middle of the race when the antelope and zebra cheated by cutting through the tall grass.

The zebra and antelope went to sleep while the cheetah passed them. When they woke up they were last. They might have won, but the cheetah was the winner.

The Bully In The Classroom

The moral of my fable is:  You shouldn't be mean to people or you'll get something back.
My fable is:

In a class room their was a boy named Alex. He would ripe other kids' home work and punch girls.

But when he had a phone call from his mom, she said, "I don't care". That hurt his feelings and made him think about how he was behaving.

When he came to school the next day his teacher put him in a third grade class with the meanest teacher ever. At the end of dismissal he said sorry to his mom, his teacher, and his school.

The Mean Friend

The moral of my fable is:  Don't trust strangers and some friends.
My fable is:

Once upon a time there was a eagle and a baboon. The eagle told the baboon to take care of her eggs.

Then the donkey told the baboon to eat the eggs and save him some.

The baboon was about to eat an egg when the eagle saw the baboon. The baboon made an excuse about what she was really doing. The eagle didn't believe him and slapped him.

The Pig And The Dog

The moral of my fable isThe dog learns to not be tempted to eat the pig.
My fable is:

Once there were a dog and a pig.

The dog loved ham so much that he chased the pig all over town. One day the pig asked the dog, "Why do you want to eat me?"

"I love ham", said the dog. The pig talked him out of eating him. Now the dog loves to eat steak.

And then, years later, the dog got married and had puppies. The puppies were small and the runt was just like his dad. They all lived happily ever after.

The Mouse, Raccoon, & Cookies

The moral of my fable is:  Teamwork gets the job done faster.
My fable is:

A mouse and a raccoon saw some cookies that looked really good. Then they talked to each other about how they could get some of those cookies.

Later they saw a big trashcan and a stool so they decided to work together. The raccoon climbed with the mouse's help up on the big trashcan and reached the cookies. Once the raccoon got hold of the cookies, the mouse helped him climb back down.

So the mouse and the raccoon ate all the cookies and that day the mouse and the raccoon learned that teamwork gets the job done better and faster.

The Dove And The Eagle

The moral of my fable is:  Do not be a bully.
My fable is:

There once lived an eagle and a dove who went to school together. At school the eagle picked on the dove every day.

The dove had no friends because he was always picked on by the eagle. The other animals didn't like the dove because of what the eagle said.

One day the dove was tired of being picked on so he went to the teacher and asked for help.

The next day the teacher talked to the dove and eagle together.

After they talked the eagle realized how mean he had been. After thinking the eagle apologized to the dove and they became friends.

The Dog And The Cat

The moral of my fable is:  Don't fight.
My fable is:

One day there was a dog and a cat. They often would fight.

Then, after a long time, they had a really big fight. The dog scratched the cat and the cat started to cry. Then, suddenly, both the dog and the cat felt sad for each other. Finally they learned about being nice and good to others. They never started a fight ever again.
