Natalie, 10, Doha, Qatar
The moral of my fable is:  Do not trick your friends for someone might trick you.
My fable is:

Once there was a mouse and a cat who lived in a far village. They never tricked each other.

One day the cat was very hungry so she decided to attack the mouse. That same day she invited her for dinner and said, "I'm inviting you tomorrow for dinner my friend". The mouse replied, "OK, I'll come".

The next day came and the mouse went to the cat's house. When she entered, the cat tried to attack her but couldn't because she was smart and ran away as fast as she could. The mouse said to herself, "I feel sorry for being the cat's friend".

One day the cat felt lonely and went to ask the mouse to play with her but the mouse refused. And by the time her friend the dog was hungry, they passed and attacked the cat but she ran away as fast as she could.

From that day on she never tricked her friends and made a promise not to trick others anymore.

The Bunny And The Frog
Chris, 9, Texas
The moral of my fable isIt's always a good idea to treat others the way you would want to be treated.
My fable is:

Once there was a bunny who had no friends, family, or money. There was also a frog who had lots of stuff and friends.

One day the frog made a bet with the bunny and said, "If I win you're mine and if you win I will give you all my stuff". The bunny said, "If I win you're mine and if you win I will give you all my stuff".

Bunny said, "Fine. A deal it is".

The day of the race the bunny noticed something. So he asked frog, "What are you doing for the race?" "It's a secret", said the frog.

The race began and frog was in the lead when the bunny copied the frog. Frog was jumping so bunny did it, too. Then bunny won. But bunny was so nice that he shared all the stuff he won with frog.
