Friendship Is More
Important |
|
Arely, 10,
United States |
| The
moral of my fable is: Share |
| My
fable is: One sunny day a
girl named Jessica asked her mother for a new doll she saw on
TV.
Her mother said someday she'll get it.
Jessica's friend also wanted the toy. They
both waited for their mothers to buy it for them.
One day Jessica came home from school
and saw the doll on top of her bed. She grabbed
the doll and ran to her mom. She just
kept saying thank you to her mom.
She took her doll to school to show
her friend. But her friend wanted to hold the doll.
Jessica didn't want to let her.
Her friend got mad and they were no
longer friends.
Jessica went home almost crying. Her
mother asked what had happened. She told her
mom what happened and all her mom said was, "Friendship
is more important", and she
left the room.
At that point she knew she should
share with her friend. The next day she took the doll
to school again and let her friend hold the doll.
They became friends again. |

villager was wondering why the prince was
going into the forest. The villager followed
the prince.
The prince stopped

The villager went by the prince and
ask what's wrong.
The prince said, I'm tired of
everything being about me. The prince just wanted to be a villager.
The villager said, he
would be happy to show him around the village.
When the tour was over,
the prince asked his mom and dad if the
announcements about him will stop. Mom and dad said yes,
they would. The prince lived happier after that and became friends with

in preschool, but Vanessa had transferred.
So day after day, Kaila and Vanessa
hung out more with each other. Katrina had felt left out and upset.
So soon her sorrow had turned into
anger and jealousy. Katrina would always pull mean pranks on Vanessa and
Kaila such as throwing
water balloons at them after school or tripping
them with her foot.
So one day, Kaila had the
courage to ask Katrina why she was so mean.
Katrina replied, "You and I used to be
best friends, Kaila.
Vanessa came along and took you away from me. Now you always hang out
with her!"
Kaila said,
"Katrina, if you felt left out, you could've told us. We never meant to
hurt your feelings".
Katrina talked it out with Vanessa and
Kaila and asked them if they could hang out with her more.
From then on, they were the
