The Monkey, Leopard, & Parrot |
|
Sydney, 11, Tennessee |
| The
moral of my fable is: If you
are nice to others,
they will be nice to you. |
| My
fable is:
One day, Tina the monkey was very lonely and
needed a friend. In a few minutes, a leopard named Mindy was walking by.
Tina said,
"Will you be my friend?" Mindy said, "No.
Why would I be friends with you?", and
walked off.
This upset Tina very
much and she began to cry.
Later, a parrot named Tilon was flying
by and saw Tina. Tilon said, "You look sad.
Do you want to be friends?" Tina said,
"Really, of course I would."
They became best friends and stuck
together through everything. |

for some tasty bacon. The angry duck said, "No
way. I will not share. I will not give you
anything!"
The sad
monkey left to find his monkey friends. The selfish duck walked home
lugging his heavy groceries. When he got home he ate alone. Then he
watched TV alone. He did not talk to anyone because he had no friends.
Soon he went
to bed without talking to anyone all night.
Meanwhile the monkey's friends called
him over for a huge yummy dinner. Then they all had a cool sleepover.
Everyone talked and had fun. The monkey knew he had very good friends! |
