The Monkey, Leopard, & Parrot
Sydney, 11, Tennessee
The moral of my fable isIf you are nice to others, they will be nice to you.
My fable is:

One day, Tina the monkey was very lonely and needed a friend. In a few minutes, a leopard named Mindy was walking by.

Tina said, "Will you be my friend?" Mindy said, "No. Why would I be friends with you?", and walked off.

This upset Tina very much and she began to cry.

Later, a parrot named Tilon was flying by and saw Tina. Tilon said, "You look sad. Do you want to be friends?" Tina said, "Really, of course I would."

They became best friends and stuck together through everything.
