The Fox And The Duck |
|
Aboubakar, 10,
Ohio |
| The
moral of my fable is: Be happy with what
you get. |
My fable is:
Once there was a fox and a duck living
in the woods. The fox is sneaky and he liked
to steal other animal’s food. The duck was a
nice animal and he helped other animal. Also
the duck was a hard worker
and he hunted for food every day.
The
fox wanted to steal the duck’s food so the fox made a plan. The plan was
to wait until the duck went out to hunt for
food. After the duck went out the fox sneaked into
the duck’s house and he saw a bag full of food.
He took the bag full of food.
When the fox went home he opened the
big bag full of food but the fox didn’t like the food so he gave
it back to the duck. He
said he was sorry and then he went home.
The next day the duck bought food for
the fox to make him feel better.
The duck went to the fox's
house, knocked on the door,
and said, "what!"
Then the fox said, "I am
sorry I yelled at
you, duck. Thank you for the food".
The moral of my fable is be happy with
you get. If you take something from someone you might not like it. You
should ask your friend if you need help with something. |

| The
moral of my fable is: Sometimes when you
say no, in your heart you mean yes. |
My fable is:
Once upon a time, a hippo and a fish
went camping at the fish city. The fish wanted to swim all day long, but
the hippo didn't know how to swim.
So, the fish asked the hippo,
"Do you want me to teach you how to swim?" The
hippo answered him, "I don't
want to learn how to swim! I don't want to go
camping! I don't want anything!"
The fish called the dolphin and the
dolphin asked the hippo the same question. The
hippo answered again, "I don't
want to learn how to swim! I don't want to go
camping! I don't want anything!"
The fish and the dolphin got angry
with the hippo.
They went to
swim. The hippo regretted it because he really
wanted to learn how to swim and go camping. So he started crying.
Finally, the dolphin and the fish
looked at the hippo and saw that he was
crying. They asked hippo again if he would like to learn how to swim.
And the hippo answered, "I want to learn how
to swim! I want to go camping! I want my old friends!"

Rumors In The Jungle |
|
Piervic, 10,
Uruguay |
| The
moral of my fable is: Do not
speak about what you don't
know about. |
My fable is:
Once upon a time, a monkey called
Peter and a tigress called Helen lived in a jungle in Africa. They were
more than enemies, like cats and dogs. This
was because they were different in sense of appearance.
One day a male tiger called Walter
came to the jungle as a tourist and said, "Excuse
me, where is my hotel?" Well,
your hotel is in front of us", said Helen.
"Sorry, I
was distracted with your beautiful eyes", he
said. Peter was listening to all
these wonderful things and he realized that
they where friends, so he told the entire jungle that they were in love.
Then he was laughing while all the
animals were asking Helen and Walter if they were in love. Helen and
Walter told them, "We are not in love.
Who told you so?"
Then the monkey realized that what he
had done was wrong so he told Helen and Walter
that he didn't mean to annoy them.
Two weeks later, Helen asked Walter,
"Would you like to be my boy friend?" He
answered, "Of course, my love." |

|
Matlucsan, 10,
Uruguay |
| The
moral of my fable is: If you help a
friend, the friend is going to help you. |
My fable is:
One day a dolphin was playing the
piano in the middle of the ocean and then an octopus wanted to help the
dolphin play the piano. By
accident the octopus broke the piano.
The dolphin cried and the octopus said
he was sorry and that it was an accident.
He said that he would buy another one.
But the
octopus lied to the dolphin because he didn't
have any money.
When the dolphin realized that the
octopus wasn't going to buy him a new piano,
the dolphin started crying again. After a
while, a whale appeared and asked the dolphin, "What
happened to you? Are you okay?"
The dolphin
explained everything to the whale. The whale
said to the dolphin, "Don't
worry. I'm going to
buy a new piano for you".
The same day
that the whale brought the piano to the
