The Crow And The Fox
Scott, 9, Singapore
The moral of my fable isDon't trust strangers.

My fable is:

There was a crow. One day, he found a piece of cheese. Then, he flew to a tree to eat the cheese. A fox saw the crow and the cheese. He wanted to eat the cheese. He also got an idea to get the cheese. He told the crow:" You have a beautiful voice and can sing very well." The crow was very happy to hear that. Then, he put the cheese on a branch and said, "I would sing but do you think I would sing with the cheese in my mouth? Of course not!" Then, he took the cheese and flew away.

The America Contest
Scott, 9, Singapore

The moral of my fable isDo not cheat.

My fable is:

In America, there would be a contest called "The American Race". One day, the America Race came.

This time, it would be tougher than usual. All the animals were amazed. Rat, Giraffe, Hippo, a fox named Mack and two rats participated in the race.

The two rats were Sly and Cheat. One day, Sly and Cheat saw all the animals practicing.

"Oh no!", said Sly. "What shall we do!?" Cheat said, "Here's my plan."

The next day, all the animals gathered around. Now Cheat and Sly had cheated. The first race was to swim across a river. Hippo was good at swimming, but he stopped by a volcano in the middle of the river. The volcano was actually made by Sly. The volcano sent Hippo flying. Hence, Hippo quit at the first race.

The second race was to climb a big mountain. All the players but Mack fell down into the trap made by Sly and Cheat.

Sly and Cheat were so excited and glad that they forgot their trap and fell down as well.

Thus, Mack became the winner of the American race. So cheating others can make you fail. Do not cheat.

The dog replied: "No way!!! I want the piece of meat!!! I am not giving it to you!!"
