Friends Forever

The moral of my fable is:  True friends stay friends in hard times.
My fable is:

Once upon a time, there was two young friends, Claudia & Gabi.

Gabi was having a hard time getting along with Michael, Claudia's friend. Michael always made fun of Gabi.

One day Claudia stood up to Michael and said, "That's enough Michael. Gabi's my friend! If you don't like her and cannot be nice, you are not my friend".

Michael was shocked. "What did you say to me Claudia?" "You heard me", she said.

He stomped out of the room. "Claudia?" Gabi said. "I can't believe you would stand up for me like that."

"You're my best friend", Claudia said. "Your mine too", Gabi said.

The Big Rumor

The moral of my fable isDo not spread rumors.
My fable is:

One day at lunch, William told me that Claudia loved Tim.

At first, I thought it was not true. Then however, I did what any other kid would do. I told Mrs. L. what happened.

Mrs. L. said, "William, say that you are sorry to Tim and Claudia". William had promised that he would not spread a rumor again.

However, William told me to tell everyone that Claudia loved Tim. So, I said to Claudia, "William told me that you loved Tim".

Claudia said, "I'm mad at him and you". Tim then said, "You should both be ashamed".

I had to say, "I am really sorry". They were not mad at me. We were friends for life.

The Poor Man And The Rich Man

The moral of my fable is:  Do not brag about what you have.
My fable is:

Once, there was a poor man and a rich man. The rich man always bragged to the poor man that he had money, bikes, televisions, and everything.

But the poor man was sad. So one day the rich man left his house to go to a fancy restaurant and while he was eating his house was robbed.

He didn't have one thing left.

Meanwhile, the poor man found a coin and was happy. He entered it in the lottery and he won. Money came out flying out of the machine. Hurray he shouted!

The Kids Who Always Bragged

The moral of my fable is:  Never brag.
My fable is:

There was a kid who always bragged. All the kids got so annoyed that they stopped being his friend.

But the boy didn't care. So he kept on bragging.

He went to school and saw a girl who was holding a trophy. The boy got mad because he wouldn't be the only one bragging.

But the next day the girl wasn't bragging and everyone was her friend because she wasn't bragging. They were not the boy's friend because he was always bragging.

The Cat Who Meows A Lot

The moral of my fable is:  Be careful in what you say.
My fable is:

One Friday morning there was a cat whose name was Meow. He would never stop talking, until one day a wolf came by and said, "Can you stop saying that?"

The cat said, "Meow" so the wolf left.

That same day the wolf came back with tape. The wolf was about to put tape on meow's mouth, but then he said, "Don't put that on my mouth!"

The wolf said, "Then stop saying meow".

The cat said, "But that's my favorite word".

The wolf said, "Oh, OK. It's just that it's so rude. But now that I know its your favorite word I understand. Then just don't say meow out loud. And if you don't say it anymore, I won't bother you anymore".

That was when cat and wolf became best animal friends.

The Pretty Duck And The Ugly Sheep

The moral of my fable is:  The duck learned that if you are mean and cruel, you won't have any friends.
My fable is:

One day there was a pretty duck and a ugly sheep. But the other animals loved the sheep.

Then duck came along and said, "Hey ugly sheep, do you want to go to the beauty contest with me?" The sheep said, "No".

The duck said, "Well, you wouldn't be able to because you're ugly". Then sheep walked away and said, "I may be ugly on the outside but I sure am pretty on the inside."

The duck said, "Well I am too".

The other animals came and said, "No, you're not. You're just cruel and mean". Then duck lost all his friends.

Never Steal

The moral of my fable is:  Never steal.
My fable is:

Once there was a boy playing in the park. He left his toy car in the sand box. Then a mean girl came and looked at it.

The little boy cried for help and his mom came. She asked him what was wrong. The boy said that a mean girl came and stole his toy car.

The girl once had two dolls. She went for a snack. The boy took the two dolls from her and said never steal from people.

She had learned her lessen.

The girl gave the toy car to the boy, and the boy gave the two dolls back to the girl.
