Dacquan, 11, South Carolina
The moral of my fable is:  Never brag about yourself.
My fable is:

Once in the grassy plains of Africa, there lived a cheetah named Leo. Leo was skinny and very fast. A leopard named Rick was also skinny and very fast. They didn't like each other so they fought over petty things.

"I am the fastest animal in Africa and nobody can bet me in a race," replied Leo. "Please, my grandma could bet you in a race", laughed Rick. "Alright then, let's race around the mountain of pride and who ever wins, gets the belt of the fastest animal in the world", roared Leo.

Later that evening, Leo and Rick were at the starting line. "On your mark, get set, Go", yelled an elephant.

Both Rick and Leo took off like speedy bullets until they were neck and neck.

"I am going to win", both of them said. Then, out of nowhere, a cloud of dust was at the finish line. It was Ricky and Lee, Rick and Leo's brothers.

"Both of you are wrong. We are the fastest animals in the world", announced both Ricky and Lee.
