Autumn, 11, South

| The
moral of my fable is: Bad thing's come

| My
fable is:
One day there were
some students named Rabbit and
Dog. School had just
ended. Rabbit saw a new student. "Hey

"Yeah I do,
Rabbit ",
Dog said. "Well, we
should go introduce ourselves",
Rabbit thought.
So Dog and
Rabbit went over to the new student
whose name was
Bear. "Hey my name is
Rabbit and this is my best friend,
Dog."
"Oh, my name
is Bear. Do you want to
come over to my house right now?"
Bear asked.

once Rabbit and Dog
stepped into Bear's house,
a big bucket filled with tomato sauce fell on them.
"Ha, ha, ha.
I knew you were going to fall for that old trick",
laughed Bear.
"Why did you do that?",
cried Dog and Rabbit. "Because I was just
pretending to be your friend so you would fall for this trick" sassed
Bear.
The next day at school
Bear fell into a trash can filled with
garbage! "Who's laughing now?" wondered
Rabbit and Dog. |

And The Pig |
|
Randolph, 11, South
Carolina |
| The
moral of my fable is: Visit everyone
more than once. |
| My
fable is:
There once lived a
Ginny Pig named Sheryl, a rabbit named Robert,
and a pig named Wilbur.
Once upon a time Sheryl and Robert
were having a gargantuan argument. "Who do
you think would win a
school contest? Me or you?"
Sheryl asked.
"Should we ask Wilbur?"
Sheryl asked Robert. Robert complained,
"Why do we have to ask Wilbur?"
On the way to the barn,
Robert said, "Do you
think Wilbur will be euphoric to see us?" They
had not spoken to Wilbur in ten years. When
they arrived everything was quiet.
Sheryl asked the farmer,
"Does Wilbur live here?" The farmer replied,
"Wilbur has been deceased for about two and a half years."
So all the way home Sheryl and Robert
cried. Sheryl and Robert felt very sad all the
way home. They learned that

The Fastest Animal In The World |
|
Dacquan, 11, South
Carolina |
| The
moral of my fable is: Never brag about
yourself. |
| My
fable is:
Once in the grassy plains of Africa, there
lived a cheetah named Leo. Leo was skinny and
very fast. A leopard named Rick was also skinny and very fast.
They didn't like each other so they fought
over petty things.
"I am the fastest animal in Africa and
nobody can bet me in a race," replied Leo. "Please,
my grandma could bet you in a race", laughed
Rick. "Alright then,
let's race around the mountain of pride and who ever wins, gets the belt
of the fastest animal in the world", roared
Leo.
Later that evening, Leo and Rick were
at the starting line. "On your mark, get set,
Go", yelled an
elephant.
Both Rick and Leo took off like speedy
bullets until they were neck and neck.
"I am going to win",
both of them said. Then, out of nowhere, a
cloud of dust was at the finish line. It was
Ricky and Lee, Rick and
Leo's brothers.
"Both of you
are wrong. We are the fastest animals in the
world", announced
both Ricky and Lee. |
