A Terrible Day For Donkey |
|
Bhav, 10, Pennsylvania |
|
The moral is: Don't cheat and what goes
around comes around. |
| My
fable is:
One fair weather day in Jungle High there
was a big test.
Donkey didn’t study but, he knew Fox
did because Fox was the class brain.
When Donkey thought nobody was looking,
he copied Fox’s answers but, Fox saw him cheat so he wrote the wrong
answers.
When Donkey wasn’t looking he wrote
the correct answers.
When time was up everyone handed in
their test.
When Mrs. Slither was done grading the
tests she called Donkey
over to her desk. She said that she saw him cheat off of Fox.
She called his parents and told them
that he failed.
His parents told him that if
we do something bad,
something bad will happen to us. So Donkey
promised never to cheat ever again. |

Hole number two was next. Tom missed
again. Jerry got another hole in one.
The last whole was ahead.

Jason, 10,
Pennsylvania |
|
The moral is: Practice makes perfect. |
| My
fable is:
Bulldog went to go over
Monkey and Toad's house to play early.
When he got there,
they were playing.
But Monkey
and Toad started to brag about how they were
faster riding their bikes.
Bulldog had enough
of it so he challenged them to a race.
Bulldog left and started to practice
riding his bike.
Meanwhile Monkey
and Toad were playing videogames and thinking
how they were going to beat Bulldog.
Then it became noon.
They were racing from Monkey and Toad’s house to Bulldogs house.
Three, two, one, go!
Monkey and Toad
vanished in a blink of an eye.
Bulldog started off slowly.
When he got to the half-way
point he kicked it into 6th gear.
Then he got in front of Monkey and
Toad and almost to the finish line!
It’s a photo finish!
Bulldog wins! That was amazing said Monkey and Toad. |

named Nicole, and a monkey named Bill. They all lived in a big house.
The cat made six cookies,
but one hour later Bill took one of the
cookies and said Nicole took the cookie.
But Nicole had been

So when it was dinner time they all
sat down together. They all
had pizza, bananas, and two cookies for
dessert.
But Bill had
three, Nicole had one.
Jess made one more for Nicole and
Bill sat in the backyard crying because he
lied.
Nicole went out back to talk to
Bill. Bill admitted that
her fresh cookie was
cooked.
When Nicole was done eating they all
played out back. So next time no one lied.

|
Myla,10, Pennsylvania |
|
The moral is:
Just because you have money, it doesn't
mean you're all that
much yourself. |
| My
fable is:
Once there was a young king
whose name was Jake.
He didn’t care about
anybody. He even
sued his own parents.
One day he bought the worlds most
biggest diamond. He almost went broke but
King Jake didn’t care.
Then he went back to his palace
where he heard a knock on the door. He
answered the door and it was an old man.
King Jake
did not know that the man
was really a wizard. The king said,
"What do you want?" The poor wizard
said humbly, "May I have some money so I can
get something to eat? I am starving".
The mean king said,
"No, you are not worth it",
and slammed the door in the wizard's face.
The next
morning Jake found himself in
a small hut with rag clothes and in a dirty bed. He
screamed. He looked to his side there was a
horse named was Lulu.
The king
went to go look for that old man. He jumped on
Lulu’s back and out they went.
Lulu was
hungry and she saw some food so she jumped up and ran for
it.
Jake was on the ground
and he was knocked out.
When he woke up he was in his bed, but
his stuff was being taken away because he went
broke because he had
bought that big diamond. The king was kicked
out.
Then he was poor for the rest of his
life. He learned how to be nice to people.
He kept Lulu as his pet,
but most importantly, he learned just because
you have money doesn’t mean your all that wonderful. |

and he had something to say.
“I am so annoyed at all of
your bragging. Can you please stop?”
Bob said “Wow. Why don’t you be
quiet?”
All the fish then went to Light
because they thought he was brave.
A couple of years later Light got hurt
