A Terrible Day For Donkey
Bhav, 10, Pennsylvania
The moral is:  Don't cheat and what goes around comes around.
My fable is:

One fair weather day in Jungle High there was a big test.

Donkey didn’t study but, he knew Fox did because Fox was the class brain.

When Donkey thought nobody was looking, he copied Fox’s answers but, Fox saw him cheat so he wrote the wrong answers.

When Donkey wasn’t looking he wrote the correct answers.

When time was up everyone handed in their test.

When Mrs. Slither was done grading the tests she called Donkey over to her desk. She said that she saw him cheat off of Fox.

She called his parents and told them that he failed.

His parents told him that if we do something bad, something bad will happen to us. So Donkey promised never to cheat ever again.

The last whole was ahead.

Tom let Jerry go first on the last hole.

He hit the ball two times. Tom hit the ball 6 times.

Tom said, "Good game! But who won?". "I did!", said jerry.

Then Tom thought, "I must practice next time". Jerry and Tom became best friends.

The moral is:  Practice makes perfect.
My fable is:

When he got there, they were playing.

But Monkey and Toad started to brag about how they were faster riding their bikes.

Bulldog had enough of it so he challenged them to a race.

Bulldog left and started to practice riding his bike.

Meanwhile Monkey and Toad were playing videogames and thinking how they were going to beat Bulldog.

Then it became noon. They were racing from Monkey and Toad’s house to Bulldogs house.

Three, two, one, go!

Monkey and Toad vanished in a blink of an eye.

Bulldog started off slowly.

When he got to the half-way point he kicked it into 6th gear.

Then he got in front of Monkey and Toad and almost to the finish line!

But Bill had three, Nicole had one.

Jess made one more for Nicole and Bill sat in the backyard crying because he lied.

King Jake did not know that the man was really a wizard. The king said, "What do you want?" The poor wizard said humbly, "May I have some money so I can get something to eat? I am starving".

The mean king said, "No, you are not worth it", and slammed the door in the wizard's face.

The next morning Jake found himself in a small hut with rag clothes and in a dirty bed. He screamed. He looked to his side there was a horse named was Lulu.

The king went to go look for that old man. He jumped on Lulu’s back and out they went.

Lulu was hungry and she saw some food so she jumped up and ran for it.

Jake was on the ground and he was knocked out. When he woke up he was in his bed, but his stuff was being taken away because he went broke because he had bought that big diamond. The king was kicked out.

All the fish then went to Light because they thought he was brave.

A couple of years later Light got hurt real badly. His light couldn’t shine as bright so Bob said, "Look! Light doesn’t have a good light but I have a very bright red so come back to me".
